2. Information we collect
We collect the following information:
Information you send through our quote request form: full name, company name, business email, country or region, industry, material or grade, quantity, a link to your drawings, and the project description you write.
Information you send us by email or WhatsApp, including drawings and technical files.
Basic technical information that web servers and security tools process automatically, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested.
This website does not currently set tracking or advertising cookies. If we enable advertising or analytics tools in the future, they may set cookies or collect technical data. We will then update this policy and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent first.
3. How we use your information
To respond to your inquiry and prepare feasibility reviews and quotations.
To communicate with you about projects, samples, production and delivery.
To email you about your inquiry and, where the law allows it, to send occasional updates about our services. You can ask us to stop at any time by replying to any of our emails or writing to us.
To keep business records and meet legal obligations.
To protect the website against spam and misuse.
To measure and improve our website and our advertising, where such tools are enabled.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on the following legal bases: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (answering your inquiry and preparing a quotation), our legitimate interests (running and securing our business and communicating with business contacts), compliance with legal obligations, and your consent where we ask for it.
4. Confidentiality of drawings and technical files
Customer drawings and technical files are treated as confidential. We share them only with our employees and with subcontractors, such as tooling, sintering, machining and finishing partners, who need them to quote or make your parts and who are bound by confidentiality obligations. We do not share them with anyone else without your agreement, except where the law requires it. If you need an NDA before sharing files, please email us first and we will arrange one.
5. Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us operate the website and our email, such as our web hosting and email provider (Hostinger), with subcontractors as described in section 4, and where we are required to do so by law. Messages you send us on WhatsApp are also handled by WhatsApp (Meta) under its own privacy policy. If we use advertising platforms such as Google or Meta, they may receive technical data through their own tools, subject to their privacy policies.
6. International transfers
We are based in China and serve customers worldwide. Information you submit may be processed in China and in the locations of our service providers. By contacting us, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in these locations. We handle personal information in accordance with applicable law, including the Personal Information Protection Law of the People’s Republic of China.
7. How long we keep information
If an inquiry does not lead to a project, we keep your information for up to 24 months after our last contact with you and then delete or anonymise it. For customers who place orders, we keep project, contract and invoicing records for as long as needed to carry out the project and to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements, and then delete or anonymise them.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal information, or to object to its use. Where we rely on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time. To make a request, email us at leo@lichengmim.com. We will respond within 30 days and may need to verify your identity first. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children
This website is intended for business users and is not directed at children.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
