How We Manage MIM Projects, Not Just Inquiries

Each item below states the customer question first and then the specific mechanism we use to answer it. Molding, sintering and inspection are carried out in our own facility in Changzhou, Jiangsu.

ENGINEERING SUPPORT

I am not sure whether my part is suitable for MIM.

Our engineers review geometry, material, tolerances, annual volume and secondary operations before tooling quotation. You receive a written assessment stating what is feasible, what needs design change and what stays machined.

DFM REVIEW

Which design details will cause problems later?

We mark wall thickness variation, unsupported thin sections, parting line position, gate location, undercuts and distortion risk on your drawing, with the change we recommend for each point.

MATERIAL SELECTION

Which alloy fits my requirement and budget?

We compare candidate materials against strength, hardness after heat treatment, corrosion resistance, magnetic behaviour and surface treatment, then state the cost difference between options.

TOOLING EVALUATION

Is the tooling cost reasonable for my volume?

We review mould structure and cavity count against your annual volume, then quote tooling and unit price together so the payback is visible before you commit.

SAMPLING AND APPROVAL

How do I know samples represent production?

Samples come from the production tool with a dimensional report against your drawing. First article confirmation and a signed sample standard are recorded before mass production starts.

PRODUCTION PLANNING

Where will my parts be made?

Your parts are produced in our own facility at No.6 Yuehu Road, Jintan District, Changzhou. We plan each project by material system, part size, tolerance level, secondary operation route and volume, and record the process route in the project file.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Who do I contact when something changes?

One project owner holds the tooling schedule, sample stage, production plan, inspection results and shipping dates. Status updates come from that person, in English.

QUALITY CONTROL

How is quality controlled during production?

Inspection points are agreed per batch: first article, in-process checks on critical dimensions, hardness and density verification, then final and packing inspection before shipment.

INSPECTION DOCUMENTS

Which documents come with the shipment?

Material certificate, dimensional report, FAI report, CPK report, hardness and density report, surface treatment report and PPAP documents where applicable. Scope is fixed at quotation stage.

TRACEABILITY

Can a delivered batch be traced back?

Each batch is linked to feedstock lot, sintering record, drawing revision and inspection data. Packing labels carry the batch reference so field issues can be traced to a defined production record.

NON-CONFORMANCE AND 8D

What happens if a batch has a problem?

We contain the affected quantity, confirm the failure mode against inspection records, run an 8D analysis and agree the corrective action and re-inspection before the next batch ships.

GLOBAL DELIVERY

Who manages export and shipping?

We arrange packing to your requirement, prepare export documents, coordinate air, sea or courier shipment on agreed terms and confirm the shipment against the packing list before dispatch.
